Our Process
From photo to lithophane
Your photo is checked, adjusted, and carefully converted into a lithophane so the details actually show when printed. No auto-spam conversions, every image gets a proper look first.
Printed and finished
Each piece is printed on my machines here in Ireland, then cleaned up and finished by hand. Layers checked, edges tidied, nothing rushed out the door.
Packed and sent
Once it’s ready, your keepsake is packed up properly and sent on its way. No drop shipping, no warehouses. Straight from the studio to you.
Bambu Lab P1S
This is the main workhorse behind Keepsmith. The P1S handles the fine detail lithophanes need, keeping layers clean and consistent from print to print. Enclosed, dialled in, and used for every order that leaves the studio.
Ender 3 V2
This Ender 3 V2 has been heavily modified and tuned for detail work. It runs Klipper with linear rails, input shaping, pressure advance, and a Sprite hotend with a volcano nozzle and custom shroud. Self levelling, upgraded heater and thermistor, and a PEI build plate keep prints consistent. Slower than the P1S, but carefully dialled in for clean lithophanes.
